PetPawfolio ("the App", "we", "us") is a pet care app that helps you manage pet profiles, health records, weight tracking, medical documents, vets, activities, and reminders. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

The short version: **your data stays on your device.** PetPawfolio does not require an account, does not upload your information to our servers, and does not sell or share your data with advertisers.

All of the following is stored locally on your device only:

- Pet information — names, species, breed, birth date, weight, and photos you add.

- Health and care records — health events, activities, care notes, weight entries, and medical record files or photos you attach.

- Vet information — veterinary clinics you save, including any contact details.

- Reminders — titles, notes, dates, times, and repeat settings.

- Your profile — an optional name and photo used only to personalize the App.

We do not have access to any of this information. It is never transmitted to us.

- No account registration, email address, or password is required or collected.

- No analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers.

- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal information with third parties.

The App requests only the permissions it needs for features you use:

- Camera and photo library — to add photos of your pets and medical documents. Photos are stored in the App's private storage on your device.

- Location — used only when you search for nearby veterinary clinics. Your location is used to run the search and is not stored by us.

- Notifications — to show reminder notifications you schedule. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; no notification data leaves your device.

You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings. The related feature will stop working, but the rest of the App is unaffected.

- Google Places (nearby vet search). When you search for veterinary clinics, your search query and approximate location are sent to Google's Places service to return results. Google's handling of this request is governed by the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). No other feature of the App communicates with external services.

- Operating system services. Notifications, photo selection, and file storage use standard Apple iOS / Google Android system services on your device.

We use Adapty to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. When you make a purchase, Adapty processes the transaction through Apple's App Store infrastructure. Adapty may receive:

- An anonymous user profile identifier

- Subscription status and transaction receipts

- App Store product identifiers

Adapty does not receive your name, journal content, or any other personal data from the App. For details, see Adapty's Privacy Policy https://adapty.io/privacy).

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can:

​

- delete individual records (pets, reminders, records, etc.) inside the App; or

- delete all App data at once by uninstalling the App.

Because we do not hold copies of your data, we cannot recover it after deletion. If your data is not backed up by your device backup (e.g. iCloud or Google device backup, which you control), uninstalling the App permanently removes it.

Pet Pawfolio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because no data leaves the device, no child's personal information is transmitted to us.

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security (device encryption, passcode/biometrics, and app sandboxing). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a device passcode.

Pet Pawfolio is an organizational tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, and information stored in the App should not substitute for professional veterinary care.

If a future version of the App adds features that change how data is handled (for example, optional accounts, sync, or purchases), we will update this policy and note the changes in the App or its store listing before they take effect.
